Frederick
Lovely breakfast, hospitable hosts, culturally enriching experience for children, great location near onsen and ski area.
Nothing to fault.

The location of the hotel was great, close to everything we wanted to do. We particularly enjoyed visiting the beautiful public onsen every night, which was only a short walk away. The staff were very polite and friendly, and breakfast was delicious.
The heating system in the room was noisy and smelly, which made it difficult to get a good night's sleep. The shared toilet facilities were run down and lacked hot water.

The location is great, close to everything, and just a short walk to the moving walkway towards the skiing area. You can also find a beautiful public onsen nearby. The staff is polite and the breakfast is nice.
The bathrooms were shared, old, and run down, which was a bit disappointing.

Great location, Wonderful staff, and Delicious breakfast.
Uncomfortable sleep and Old Onsen. The hotel is in a prime location just a few steps from the local shops and beautiful public onsen where you can enjoy a relaxing soak after a long day. The staff were amazing and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and welcome. The breakfast was delicious and provided a great start to our day. Besides this, the uncomfortable futons made for a less than pleasant sleep, and the onsite onsen was old and run down, leaving us searching for other options. while the hotel had some nice aspects, the uncomfortable sleep and poorly maintained facilities did take away from our experience.

Staying at this hotel was a great cultural experience for me. The ryokan style rooms were clean and a decent size. I particularly enjoyed the breakfast, which was really tasty. The hotel location was wonderful as it was located close to everything including the moving walkway to the ski area. It took me only 5 minutes to reach the public onsen every night. The staff were very polite and friendly.
Everything was spot on, and I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel.
